About Martine
This is me with Peter, my delightfully goofy other half.
Every relationship has places that feel sacred, and ours are no different. I remember our first date restaurant vividly, and each year we return there to relive the moment with a smile and a wink at how far we’ve come. Here we pause under a tree that holds a turning point in our story—the place where a decision changed our direction. We’ve given each special spot nicknames, so a quick call or mention always brings us back to the exact place we ’re thinking of.
With Peter by my side and a glass raised to every new chapter, I’m grateful for the moments that shape us—big and small. Here’s to love, laughter, and the future
Phoenix
isn’t just a kelpie, she’s our heart in fur.
She rules our little world with a wag of her tail and a sparkle in her eye, utterly spoiled and utterly essential. Peter and I joke that she’s our child, because she fills our days with joy, loyalty, and a love that’s as wide as the horizon. She comes everywhere with us—on dog-friendly holidays, on sandy beaches, and even into the surf—where she is, proudly, the best ocean swimmer we’ve ever known.
Our commitment to her is simple: to nurture her curiosity, keep her safe, and give her the same boundless love she gives us in return. She isn’t just part of our life; she is the heart of it.
Yoga has been the quiet thread through my life.
Yoga is the footprint beneath my celebrant work, listening, guiding, presence, and meaningful connections. Yoga has been a thread through my life, it was the medicine for my body after a car accident in my 20s where I had multiple injuries including a broken lower spin..
I opened a small, intimate yoga studio, I teach yoga to share stillness, strength and flexibility of body and heart.and on occasion when the weather is warm I love taking students outdoors into the park for yoga, doing poses with fresh air, green space, and the sounds of nature.
